Use Garuda Linux it's basically Arch Linux pre-configured and the distro focuses on privacy to top it off it's also aimed at gaming or what ever use you want it for if you get Dragonized you get Arch Linux out of the box the main theme is based on MacOS. If you don't like the default theme just like Arch Linux it's KDE Plasma so you can customize it just like Arch Linux controllers work out of the box and it makes a good SteamOS their mascot browser aims completely at privacy and anti-data collection practices and uses SearX as its main search engine. The distro is named after the God its self so you probably know based on mythology what it's about the distro is completely Legendary and has a friendly userbase with people waiting to help people. The distro could care less about collecting data which is how it should be also Linux Mint has its flaws I just looked up there is some privacy concerns going on with it and yes I had heard of this distribution and it's a stupid Windows knock off version of Linux made by idiots who have no business running a distro for that matter you're better off running Kubuntu which has LTS support and also looks like SteamOS. WOW RUclips is going on a gaslighting spree and it's unacceptable behavior.

Any Linux distribution that asks for payment information upfront prior to the download process is a very sketchy, suspicious, distro, because you shouldn’t have to pay for a distro I could see the LinuxFX developers getting themselves into hot water

This old grouch knew enough to call "foul" on the whole scheme. I spent my money on a cheap SSD and loaded Linux directly thereon, whist keeping the old boot drive as insurance. Both cheaper and safer, grin. Funny that the distribution we chose is still running with a lot less problems than my friends have had with MS Windows.

I bought one and it was a royal pain to install it plus ounce you do it doesn't upload your files. I returned mines.

Qmmp actually has a nice QT based, very flexible interface (supporting drag and drop and resizing of all the elements in the GUI). You need to enable "Simple Interface" in the plugin preferences. Why it is the "Simple Interface" I don't know.. it's kind of rich actually if you compare it to the Winamp-Style interface. I especially like the Wave-Form seek bar and being able to adjust some colors in the GUi, it does not come with a full dark mode though (at least I did not find it.. o).

When you do the jump drive, do you use a different SD card for that then expose pinephone internal drive? And use pmboostrap to install the os to eMMc is to flash the os from the computer to the pinephone, not from the already flashed SD card to the pinephone, right?

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Very sad to see this story is told in a very short way, the joojoo was pioneer in the tablets market at that time, there was a big commuty for hacking and making the tablet a better product but unfortnuly the server lost alot of data thru a crash. After the joojoo tablet failed the company came with the grid10 tablet and the people how bought a joojoo tablet got a free grid10 tablet ( i bought the joojoo tablet and got a free grid10 tablet) The grid10 tablet was Android based and had a couple of nice features, but it didn,t take long to fail to, the community also had a lot of hacks for this tablet but there was a problem with the usb data cable that almost nobody had and it was lend out from the community all over the world, he problem wenn grid10 tablet failed was that it had to be signed on to a server from fusion garage jist like the joojoo in order to work, i still have the grid10 tablet to this day and is probaly the only one in the world that still works even youtube and netflix works. There was a batch of joojoo tablets years ago that was sold of to a company that worked with hospitals because of the windows you could put on the tablet and it was under a different brand name after that the joojoo was truly dead unfortunuly, i hope a big name on youtube could make a good documantery about fusion garage because it is a very good story to be told, the creator of the joojoo tablet was after the fails of both tablets an employ of Will i am and brought a camera phone case for the iphone witch also flopped, now you see there is a much bigger story behind all of this, a big shoutout to the community that stood by both tablets and invested alot of time to make these a better product at that time

Solid review. First I've seen of your channel. Been a Linux daily driver user since 07. Got into Plasma in the past year and for my screwaround boxes that's all I'll run now. Dropped GNOME after the 3 switch. QT finally won me over though.

This is EXACTLY what my school has in the library PCs. I always have a Linux Mint persistent live USB on me if I need to use it for some reason.

Trying the latest RisiOS now. So far the only issue is a cannot get the web apps to work.

Even Linux Mint sucks deeply. Why? I can't even update. Once in the middle of an update a message appears saying there was an error to download the latest updates. Screw linux.
